Baahubali: The Conclusion, which has become the biggest grosser in Indian cinema, has been performing well at the Kerala box office. After entering the Rs. 25 crore club within six days, the SS Rajamouli directorial has now crossed Rs 50 crore at the Kerala box office.

Baahubali 2 has now become the fastest movie to achieve the feat by breaking the record of Pulimurugan in just 15 days of its grand run in the state. It has to be noted that the Mohanlal-starrer entered the prestigious club only after 18 days of its theatrical run.

Kochi multiplexes box office

After becoming the fastest movie to cross Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 2 crore mark, Baahubali 2 has now also become the fastest Rs 3 crore grosser at the multiplexes in Kochi. The movie made a collection of Rs. 10.36 lakh on the 15th day of its theatrical run with an average theatre occupancy of 81.04 percent. The total 15-day collection of the SS Rajamouli directorial is said to be Rs 2.56 crore from six multiplexes in the city.

Baahubali 2 is followed by Dulquer Salmaan's Comrade in America aka CIA, which did a business of Rs. 5.34 lakh on the eighth day with 59.90 percent occupancy at multiplexes. The Amal Neerad directorial has made a gross collection of Rs. 76.93 lakh in eight days from the multiplexes.

Meanwhile, Kunchacko Boban and Anu Sithara's family entertainer Ramante Edanthottam, which was released on May 12, is said to have performed decently on the opening day with approximately Rs. 80 lakh from Kerala. "Superb reports..Satisfying collections..Thank you all:) [sic]," director Ranjith Sankar wrote on his Facebook page.

However, the collection of the movie has been affected due to tough competition from Baahubali 2 and CIA as the feel-good movie could only earn Rs. 4.7 lakh from Kochi multiplexes on day one with a theatre occupancy of 61.35 percent.
