While Bella Hadid apologised for promoting the Fyre Festival controversy, Kendall Jenner opted to post a topless photo showing her $4,500 hip-high orange boots. The 21-year-old Victoria's Secret Model dared to bare in the racy photo while she received criticism.

Kendall, Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Baldwin, Chanel Iman and several other models were criticised for promoting the Fyre Festival that turned out to be a disaster. These models urged fans to buy the tickets for the festival that cost up to thousands of dollars.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Kendall faced backlash this year. This month, Kendall featured in a Pepsi commercial that was pulled down after the controversy. Along with the beverage brand, fans slammed Kendall for featuring in a commercial that was made on movements such as Black Lives Matter.

However, Pepsi in an official statement apologised to Kendall for putting her in this position. "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologise. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologise for putting Kendall Jenner in this position," the official statement said.
