"Dhoom 3" actress Katrina Kaif was announced as the fourth spokesperson of the cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris.

Katrina has joined the elite list with other Indian actress including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor as the brand ambassador of the cosmetic group.

"I am thrilled that Katrina joins our amazing roster of spokespeople. She exudes sheer glamour and is a beauty icon to millions across the globe. She has risen to the top through sheer hard work and is an inspiration to all. Today we are proud to welcome her into the L'Oréal Paris family and hope to have a fabulous association with her," said Satyaki Ghosh, the official spokesperson of the company, according to Koimoi.com.

The 30-year-old actress will reportedly endorse a new shampoo and make-up product, DNA newspaper reported in December.

Aishwarya Rai, Sonam and Freida have been endorsing the brand for years and have also been walking the Cannes Film Festival red carpet as the face of cosmetic brand.

"The stunning women that represent the brand across the globe are strong motivators. It is an incredible privilege to be joining this league of ladies. I'm looking forward to working with the L'Oreal Paris team in India and creating some new global beauty trends," Katrina said, according to Press Trust of India.

Earlier, it was reported that Aishwarya, who is endorsing the brand since more than a decade, was not happy with Katrina joining the league. [Read the full report here]
