Things are not going great in Katrina Kaif's personal and professional life. After "Dhoom 3" and "Bang Bang," Katrina hardly had a hit movie in her career and this year, there were reports of her breakup with alleged ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor.

Katrina needs a blockbuster film to give her career a major boost and gossip mills suggest that she is regularly calling her ex-boyfriend and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to express her eagerness. Filmfare reports that Katrina wants to work with Salman once again, after her last film "Fitoor" received average response.

Katrina doesn't have many films in her kitty apart from "Jagga Jasoos," which keeps getting delayed, and "Baar Baar Dekho." So what better way than working with Salman to give her career a boost. Salman previously shaped Katrina's career by signing her in the film "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya." Later, he worked with her in movies like "Partner," "Yuvvraaj," and "Ek Tha Tiger."

Meanwhile, Salman is also interested in working with Katrina again. Last year, after the release of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," Salman expressed his desire to share screen space with ex-girlfriend Katrina.

"I would love to have Katrina in the film but I don't know," Salman said when asked about working with Katrina, according to the Press Trust of India.

Presently, Salman is busy shooting his forthcoming film "Sultan," which also features Anushka Sharma in the lead role. Salman will be seen as a wrestler named Sultan in the film. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles.

"Sultan" is a much-awaited release of this year as it features Salman, and for the first time Anushka will be seen sharing screen space with the actor. The film will be released in theatres worldwide this Eid.
