Duchess of the Cambridge Kate Middleton's pregnancy rumours take the spotlight every time, but this time it looks like gossipmongers have gone way too far. A false report has been doing the rounds claiming that Middleton suffered a miscarriage and lost her twin daughters.

National Enquirer reported that Middleton was pregnant with twin girls, but she suffered a miscarriage. The tabloid further claimed that this miscarriage has caused a rift between Prince William and Middleton.

"Instead of consoling each other over the miscarriage, Wills and Kate started bickering — and things escalated to the point where a sobbing Kate walked out," the tabloid reported, quoting a royal insider as saying.

"The Duchess of Cambridge was keeping her pregnancy a secret but her worst nightmare happened when she suddenly fell ill. Although her doctor rushed to her side, the miscarriage couldn't be prevented. Kate was shattered," the source further added.

However, the miscarriage and divorce rumours are false and a reliable source has confirmed to Gossip Cop that Middleton was never pregnant with twins.

This is not the first time Middleton's miscarriage news has surfaced online. In 2014, there were reports that Middleton had lost her second baby due to miscarriage. However, the palace had dismissed the pregnancy and miscarriage reports that time.

Meanwhile, in September there were reports that the royals will announce Middleton's third pregnancy news by Christmas "They (Prince and Kate) want a third baby soon. It would not surprise me if they were pregnant by Christmas," US Weekly quoted a source as saying.

But there has been no confirmation about the same yet.
