TV presenter-turned-actress Swathi Reddy, who is awaiting the release of her latest movie "Karthikeya", has revealed her wedding plans.

Swathi, who is better known as Colours Swathi, is now busy promoting "Karthikeya", a bilingual movie, which will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil with the same name.

In an interview to a Tamil newspaper, she has confirmed the news about her marriage.

Talking about her wedding plans, the 27-year-old actress gushes that she has already given her consent for marriage and her parents have been in search of a suitable guy for the past few months.

"Some decisions will yield good results, if they are taken at the right moment. I decided to get hitched, when my parents suggested me to settle down in life," Dinamalar quotes Swathi as saying.

Swathi was born in Vladivostok, Russia and was brought up in Visakhapatnam. At the age of 17, she ventured into the TV industry through the show "Colors". As a host, she presented over 150 episodes on the show. Later, she continued her education and completed her graduation in Biotechnology at St Mary's College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad.

She made her acting debut through the Telugu movie "Danger" in 2005. Having starred in another Telugu film titled "Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule", she forayed into Kollywood with the film "Subramaniapuram", which had won her two nominations from Filmfare and Vijay Awards in 2008. She was also featured in few Malayalam movies, including "Amen", North 24 Kaatham" among others.

In her acting career spanning 10 years, Swathi has starred in nearly 20 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. She was last seen in the Tamil film "Vadacurry", which was also dubbed and released in Telugu as "Kulfi". Her upcoming film "Karthikeya" is scheduled to release in theatres on 24 October.

The actress has two Tamil films and a Malayalam movie in her kitty, including "Amali Thumali", "Yatchan" and "Double Barrel", which are lined up for shooting.

Before she gets married, she wants to wrap up all her committed projects. She is yet to decide on whether to act in films, even after her marriage or not.
