The wait is finally over. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been blessed with a baby boy. The actress delivered the baby boy at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at around 7.30 am on Tuesday morning.

According to a report, Kareena and the baby are in good health. "Yes. We are blessed with a baby boy. My manager will release a statement soon," Saif confirmed the news to Pinkvilla.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is a close friend of Kareena, also confirmed the news and tweeted the baby's name. "My Bebo had a baby boy!!!!!!! Am so so happy!!!!!!! #TaimurAliKhan," he tweeted.

"We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif & Kareena," the official statement read.

Both the Kapoor and Khan family members are present at the Breach Candy hospital to be on the Kareena's side.

"We are delighted. We are so happy. The baby is fine and so is Kareena. All of us are absolutely delighted," Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor told Indian Express.
