Age is just a number for Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bollywood's Bebo may be 45, but she can easily give Gen Z stars a run for their money. Known for her flawless fashion sense, Kareena never fails to ooze oomph. Be it Indian outfits, classy pantsuits or glamorous one-pieces, her fit checks are always fabulous.

On Wednesday, Kareena Kapoor attended the star-studded The Honours red carpet event hosted by The Hollywood Reporter India in Mumbai. Karan Johar, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and several other celebrities were also present at the event.

Kareena opted for a sensual red off-shoulder gown. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, her vintage ensemble was a 1987 Vicky Tiel ruched gown. She accessorized the look with a dainty ruby and diamond-encrusted choker necklace and a massive diamond ring.

Her gown is reminiscent of Julia Roberts' iconic red dress from the film Pretty Woman. Sharing pictures from the night on Instagram, Kareena captioned her post: "Thank you dearest @anupama.chopra ... and @hollywoodreporterindia for making me a part of this absolutely electric room of exceptional talent ... and also... I felt like a pretty woman ♥️."

Several photos and videos of Kareena from the event have gone viral. While many praised her look, some trolled her over her outfit, pointing out her flabby arms,  wrinkles and even a pimple on her cheekbone. A section of social media users criticised her makeup, calling it overdone, and made ageist remarks. However, others applauded her for confidently embracing her natural beauty.

Despite the mixed reactions, it was Kareena and Shabana Azmi's heartwarming interaction that truly won hearts.

In one viral video, Kareena is seen surprising Shabana Azmi by walking up behind her and wrapping her arms around her in a playful hug. Shabana lovingly reciprocated to Kareena's gesture.

Shabana wore a pink saree paired with a purple blouse. She completed her look with a red handbag.

Shabana and Kareena's moment comes years after Shabana had openly criticised Kareena for doing the item song Fevicol Se.

In 2016, Shabana had said, "I have reservations against item numbers. That's because I think if a topmost heroine is singing 'I am tandoori murgi, swallow me down with alcohol', it's not a laughing matter. It's a serious issue." She had further added, "One person wrote the song, a few more got it made, but it was watched by crores of people. They also saw their 6-year-old kids singing and dancing to it. Don't you have a responsibility? It's not fun."
