Producer-director Karan Johar has slammed reports which claimed that he has signed superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan for a whopping ₹150 crore each, for his studio's upcoming projects.

The buzz was that Johar offered Aamir a ₹150 crore deal for a new Dharma Productions film, while he also roped in Salman for a similar amount for his upcoming project "Shhuddhi", according to reports.

The director took to microblogging site Twitter to refute the reports and clarify his stand.

Other top actors who charge stupendous amounts

Top Bollywood actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are all known to charge around ₹30-₹40 crore per film, plus a considerable share in the profits. Hrithik Roshan makes an exception as he apparently chose not to share the profits of his film but to take home a whopping amount of ₹50 crore for Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming movie "Mohenjo Daro".

Top Bollywood actresses, on the other hand, charge around ₹2-₹3 crore per film, with the exception of Kareena Kapoor, who reportedly received ₹8 crore for "Heroine" and Priyanka Chopra, who charged ₹7 crore for "Zanjeer".
