Kapil Sharma's comeback stint with a new comedy show on television will be a grand one. Kapil, who received tremendous support from the film industry after his show "Comedy Nights With Kapil" (CNWK) went off air, will make a comeback on television with none other than Shah Rukh Khan.

The comedian will reportedly return to TV with a new show that will air on Sony Entertainment Television in March. And if reports are true, King Khan will be the first celebrity guest to appear on the show.

Kapil will shoot for the first episode of Sony's show with "Fan" actor Shah Rukh. King Khan will promote his film "Fan" on the show with Kapil and the cast of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", including Navjot Sidhu, Sumona Chakravarti, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Kiku Sharda, Spotboye.com reports.

This is not the first time Shah Rukh has come in support of the comedian. Earlier, when a massive fire razed down the sets of "Comedy Nights with Kapil" in 2013, SRK and other celebrities came in support of Kapil.

SRK and Kapil, who recently hosted Filmfare Awards, share a good bond. When Kapil's "CNWK" went off air, Shah Rukh told reporters at an event that he wants Kapil to comeback on television.

"He's a very talented man, one of the best stand-up comics we have. Apart from that, the film that he has done 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon', he's done very good work in it. Hope he does something else soon so that we all can be entertained," IANS quoted Shah Rukh as saying.

Meanwhile, apart from Shah Rukh, several other Bollywood stars have come in support of the "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" actor and shot for the promos welcoming the comedian, Spotboye.com reports. The celebrities who shot for the promos includes, Kareena Kapoor, Virat Kohli, Saina Nehwal and Arjun Kapoor.
