Superstar Rajinkanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth recently announced about her second directorial venture with her brother-in-law Dhanush in the lead role. The movie, titled Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), is the production venture of Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations.
Now, the latest buzz we hear from the entertainment industry is that the movie will have two heroines, and the names of Kajal Aggarwal and Manjima Mohan have been making the rounds on social media. Though no official announcement has been made so far, sources close to the movie hint that the young ladies will be a part of the upcoming project.
If the rumours ring true, NEEK marks the second association of Kajal with Dhanush after Maari and the debut project of Malayalam actress Manjima with the talented young action star of Kollywood.
Kajal, who played a cameo appearance in Junior NTR's recent blockbuster Janatha Garage, has Tamil films Kavalai Vendam, Thala 57 and Telugu projects Khaidi No 150 and untitled Teja movie in her kitty.
Manjima, who made her debut as a child artiste in Malayalam movie Priyam in 2000, was recently seen opposite Nivin Pauly in superhit film Vadakkan Selfie. The actress is now awaiting the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's romantic entertainer Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada opposite Simbu and its Telugu version Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.
She has also been roped in to play lead roles in Tamil movie Mudi Soodaa Mannan and yet-to-be-titled projects of Gaurav Narayanan and R Panneerselvam Pr.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently basking in the success of political thriller Kodi, which has opened to positive response from the audience.
