Television actress Paridhi Sharma, who rose to popularity as Jodha of historical drama "Jodha Akbar," is rumoured to be pregnant. According to a Tellychakkar.com report, the actress, who is married to businessman Tanmay Saxena for over four years, is expecting her first child.

The actress has apparently been spotted with a baby bump at several events. If the report turns out to be true, it will surely excite Paridhi's millions of fans worldwide.

Paridhi and "Jodha Akbar" lead actor Rajat Tokas (Akbar) turned out to be one of the most popular on-screen couples with a huge fan base. "Jodha Akbar" ruled the hearts of millions before it was pulled down due to drastic fall in the TRP ratings last year. The periodic series depicted a 16th century love story and a political marriage between Mughal emperor Akbar and Rajput princess Jodha.

However, ever since "Jodha Akbar" went off air, Paridhi had been away from the small screen except for making small appearances in a few shows. The beautiful lady had played a cameo in Karan Kundra's "Yeh Kahan Aagaye Hum" in March. She had also hosted Vikas Gupta's "Talaash," which was based on real life stories on supernatural powers and highlighted some incidents on exorcism.

Besides Paridhi, popular actress Shweta Tiwari is also expecting her first child with her second husband Abhinav Kohli. Chahatt Khanna Mirza, who is best remembered as Ayesha in popular show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" and Nida in "Qubool Hai," is also expecting her child in the second week of September.

"Qubool Hai" actor Karanvir Bohra and wife Teejay Sidhu are also expecting their first child in November after almost 10 years of marriage.
