The International Film Festival of India is being held in Goa from November 20 to November 28. The ceremony will go on for nine days. The 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) commenced with grandeur in Goa, inaugurated by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Karishma Tanna and Aparshakti Khurana and boasted a star-studded lineup featuring luminaries like Sunny Deol, Madhuri Dixit, Vijay Sethupathi, Shahid Kapoor, and Karan Johar among others.

Shahid Kapoor set the stage ablaze with his power-packed performance during the inauguration of IFFA. Madhuri Dixit wowed the audience with her elegance and charm. While Shreya Ghoshal crooned some soothing songs and enthralled the audience with her voice.
Sunny's support to Salman comes after Tiger's box office run began with a bang but evetaukly pwiong to the World Cup it slowed down. Despite that, the film received a strong opening day collection of Rs 43 crore, despite releasing on a Sunday and on the festival of Diwali.

On the film's release day (August 11), Salman Khan had shared a still from the film on his Instagram profile and he wrote, "Dhai kilo ka haath equals chalis [40] crore ki opening. Sunny paaji is killing it. Congrats to the entire team of Gadar 2."
