Comedian Srinivasa Reddy's much-awaited film Jayammu Nischayammu Raa (JNR) released in theatres on Friday, November 25, and received positive reviews and good ratings from film critics.

The story of Jayammu Nischayammu Raa is about government employee Sarvam (Srininvasa Reddy), who falls in love with Rani (Poorna). He wants to marry and settle down happily. What happens when he comes to know that she is in love with another guy forms the crux of the movie's story.

Jayammu Nischayammu Raa has an intriguing story and Shiva Raj Kanumuri has written an engaging screenplay. The director takes his own sweet time to build each character and it results in a slow and dragging first half. But the second half of the film is high on entertainment quotient and is engaging.

Srinivasa Reddy is the heart and soul of Jayammu Nischayammu Raa and he has given a brilliant performance, which is the main highlight of the movie. Poorna has done justice to her role and her chemistry with the hero is good. Krishna Bhagwan, Ravi Varma and others' performances are added assets of the movie.

Jayammu Nischayammu Raa has good production values and art direction, while camera work, music and dialogues are the attractions on the technical front. We bring you some critics' verdict and ratings for the film. Continue to read them in the Jayammu Nischayammu Raa review roundup:

Jayammu Nischayymuraa is a feel good film which has its heart in its place. A small town set up, earthy characters, good comedy and Srinivasa Reddy's impressive performance will surely go well. But at the same time, one needs to sit through the very slow and jaded first half which can get to you at times. If you are okay all these things, you can easily give this small town love story a shot which has some interesting moments.

Telugu Mirchi Ratings: 3.25

Jayammu Nischayammu Ra depicts the real time ups and downs in life of a normal person. The story was a fresh one and the execution was okay. The music is another impressive element in the movie. The movie also has a Telangana flavour which is a special attraction in the movie. Overall, an honest attempt by the team and this can be your choice this weekend. It will make you laugh, think and enjoy.

AP Herald Ratings:

Jayammu Nischayymuraa is a feel good film which has its heart in its place. A small town set up, earthy characters, good comedy and Srinivasa Reddy's impressive performance will surely go well. Though the concept is good, many such films came earlier making it a routine one. The director has come with pretty ordinary story and screenplay and direction turned average with no real twists and turns.

Tollywood Ratings:

Jayammu Nischayammu Raa is a good family entertainer movie that reflects our society. Srinivas Reddy carries the entire responsibilities of the movie on his shoulder and steals the show by his performance. The first half has slow paced narration that disappoints the audiences but the second half is entertaining and engaging. Overall it is a watchable movie.
