The pre-release buzz of "Jai Ho" starring Salman Khan suggests that the film will head for a strong first day run at the box office.

"Dhoom 3" has set a new bar at the box office with its record breaking collection and "Jai Ho" is expected to beat the record.

Salman's previous films have shattered records at box offices and "Jai Ho" is expected to do the same. But the lead actor of the film is a bit worried about "Jai Ho" fate at collection centers.

Salman says that "Jai Ho" is quite different from his previous films and he really wants it to do well in terms of collection.

"It is said that the most favourite film of the actor hasn't worked, so that fear is also there. So far it's not happened with me, but there will be a time that it will happen. I hope this doesn't happen with me with this film, because I really like it. The film has a lot of action, comedy, romance etc, and yet is not in the same format as my earlier films," Salman said, according to Press Trust of India.

After "Dhoom 3", Salman starrer is the first big film and expectations are riding high on it. The box office started on a dull note in 2014 with "Yaariyan" faring averagely well.

Even Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer "Dedh Ishqiya" didn't fetch good figures at the collection centers. So it is down to "Jai Ho" to set the box office on fire again.

"Jai Ho" is a political drama directed by Sohail Khan and also features Tabu, Danny Denzongpa and Suniel Shetty along with newcomers Daisy Shah and Sana Khan in important roles.
