On Thursday, the actor translated the song in a beautiful poem and posted it on his Twitter handle.

"With apologies to Gulzar sahib, sorry sir, i attempted the Challa lyrics translation in a poem.." Shah Rukh tweeted along with a photo.

He had earlier explained on the micro-blogging site the meaning of the starting lyrics of the song "Challa Labda Phire": "As Rumi says the 2 insomnias of love where you keep searching for your lover. Thats the meaning of Challa ki labda phire.hope u all like it."

"When I am with u, we stay up all night, trying to find each other. When you're not here, I can't go to sleep....i wait for u. LABDA PHIRE," he wrote further.

Oscar award-winning music director A.R Rehman paired up with Gulzar and created beautiful and amazing poetic music for the film.

In the two-minute song Shahrukh is seen walking the streets of London and entertaining passersby and onlookers by playing the guitar.
