After months of speculations and leaks, Pune-based bike maker has made the official statement through a digital clock on its official website which indicates the launch date and time.

It has been a long wait for the two-wheeler enthusiasts in the country. Although Bajaj is yet to announce the official bookings for the Pulsar RS 200, IndianAutos Blog reports that the dealers of the company have began accepting the bookings with a down payment of Rs 5,000.

Touted to be the 'Fastest Pulsar Yet', Pulsar RS 200 is likely to be offered with ABS in India. Though the previous spy shots had confirmed the presence of ABS in the new Pulsar model, it is still not clear whether this feature will come as an option or a standard fitment. Considering Bajaj's pricing for the Indian market, it is safe to assume that the ABS will be optional in the domestic market.

From what we have heard so far, the soon-to-be-launched Pulsar RS 200 will get a price tag in the brackets of Rs 1.1 lakh and the same with ABS could be price at around Rs 1.5 lakh. Rumours have also hit the web that Pulsar RS 200, the latest in the 200cc bike from the house of Bajaj will also become the most affordable fully-faired model in the Indian market.

For those who are unaware, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, a fully-faired version of Pulsar 200NS is likely to get power from 199.5 cc single-cylinder 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out a 24.4 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.

For the Turkish market, Pulsar RS 200 will measure 2,060 mm in length, 750 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and will come with ground clearance of 165 mm. The bike will have a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and kerb weight will be 151 kg.
