Two -wheeler enthusiasts in India have been waiting for some time now to press the throttle of Bajaj's highly anticipated Pulsar RS 200. Now, it looks like the wait is finally over as the emerging reports on the web indicate that the fully faired version of Pulsar 200NS is coming our way by March end.

The latest interesting tidbit on Baja's Pulsar RS 200, which was previously known as Pulsar 200SS, came from BikeWale, and according to this report the Pune-based bike maker will finally pull the cover off its Pulsar RS 200 in India on 26 March.

Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 has been in the spotlight for quite some time now and the model was caught on camera numerous times in its undisguised and disguised states. The bike also made its online debut recently through official teasers and images. Bajaj's Turkish website has now also detailed the specifications and features of the model ahead of its official unveiling.

Measuring 2,060 mm in length, 750 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 comes with ground clearance of 165 mm. The engine line-up of the model includes the 199.5 cc single-cylinder 4-valve liquid-cooled engine as expected, which is tuned to dish out 24.4 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The current engine of Pulsar 200NS in India has the capacity to churn out 23.52PS of power at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. Transmission will be taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox.

For the suspension, Pulsar RS 200 that has been labelled as the"Fastest Pulsar Yet" gets telescopic fork at the front and mono suspension at the rear. There is also 280 mm front and 230 mm rear disc with 100/80 and 130/70 tubeless tyres. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and kerb weight stands at 151 kg.

As for styling, Pulsar RS 200 gets aggressive muscular styling with crystal LED tail lamps and twin projector headlamps. The bike, which is expected to reach the Indian showrooms by the end of March, will see the light of day in Turkey in June.

If recent reporters on the web are to be believed, some dealers of the company have started accepting the bookings for the soon-to-be-launched Pulsar RS 200 ahead of its arrival in India.

When launched, Pulsar RS 200 will be pitted against Hero Karizma R, Yamaha YZF-R15 and KTM RC200 in India and model is expected to get a price tag around at ₹1.5 lakh.
