Ireland Baldwin on Sunday took to her Instagram page to post a topless picture of hers to promote body positivity.

The photo shows the daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin looking into the camera with just a pair of denim pants. The model, whose numerous tattoos are visible, protected her modesty with her hand.

Ireland uploaded this photo just days after she hit back at body-shamers for targeting her for not being thin enough and for being pale.

"This is who I am, take it or leave," she captioned alongside a photograph. "I am not going to be body shamed for being pale or not stick thin. I'm not going to spend hours photoshopping my authenticity away. I'm not going to beat myself up for not looking like someone else. I'm not going to be told that I'm damaged goods because of my tattoos."

Writing that she loves every curve and edge of her body, Ireland said she wants her social media followers to know the real her. She also added that she was proud of the person she has become.

"I want to be as real as possible with everyone that follows me because to be quite honest, what the is even the point of social media if you can't be who you truly are? I'm not here to mindfuck all of you into believing I am something that I'm not. I'm forever on a journey of finding my better self and I will continue to work as hard as I can to make MYSELF proud," she added.

Baldwin isn't the only celebrity to take to social media channels to hit back at haters. Recently, Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland had tweeted about people accusing her of being too thin and glamourising anorexia, and a few months back her co-star Ariel Winter revealed that she's constantly criticised for being curvy.
