Though Vinod Kambli may not be remembered by cricket fans much, he does things which bag headlines. And what better time than the IPL to come to limelight as the event is one of the most watched sporting events in the world.

The former left handed batsman for India has once again hogged the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The player via his twitter handle @vinodkambli349 posted a number of tweets, which targeted IPL commentators such as Rameez Raja, Shoaib Akhtar, and Navjot Singh Sidhu.

Former cricketers Raja, Akhtar and Sidhu were experts in the studio during IPL Extraaa innings, which takes place before the match starts.

"Siddhu sirf saayri mein busy hai.comments koun karegaa mera baap .himmat hai toh siddhu ko bolo mera sammna kare.iski toh kar donga mein"

"Pakistani ko har channel mein lekar aatey ho.aarey unse kaho unke channel mein Humko gaali dete hai.Hai hai Pakistan.zindabad Hindustan"

"Abhey mein rameez or sohaib se naaraz nahin ho aapne joh Uun Pakistani koh aapnaye hai joh Humko gaali dekar humsien he Paisa lete hai"

However, Kambli apologised to all stating that it was not him, who had tweeted the above messages but his friend, whom he has "fired" now.

This is not the first time that the former Mumbai batsman has landed in such a soup, as he has made some controversial comments in the past as well.

He had even stated that the 1996 World Cup semi-final in India was fixed.

Other such controversies include incidents of him creating trouble in his society along with his infamous comment, where he stated that Sachin Tendulkar did not help him when he should have.
