Brendon McCullum hit his second ton of IPL against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and guided his side, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), to a comfortable victory by 45 runs. He reached the landmark in just 56 balls and remained not out.

After the match he used words like "restless", "disappointed" and "exhausted" for himself and said things like "brilliant", "effective" and "commanding" for his teammates reported the official website of the Indian Premier League.

He reminded his fans of the innings that he played in the first ever game of the IPL back in 2008 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) where he amassed 158 runs and won that match for his side single handedly. He repeated the same for CSK last night.

In an interview with the official IPL website, he said, "It was nice to make some contribution; I was disappointed to miss out in the first game. I would really give credit to my partners for this innings."

"Partnerships are so important in T20 cricket and we had three our four today which let us post that total. It also allows you to play with freedom."

He further added, " It was a really thorough performance from us tonight and we set stride in the right direction after a pretty scrappy win in the last match. It will get harder now because we play away from home and so it is good to have two wins upfront."
