The India team is enjoying their stay in Australia and especially in Sydney as the visitors piled on the runs on day 2 of the fourth Test match courtesy wonderful knocks from Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja.

The two Saurashtra batsmen, Pujara and Jadeja along with Delhi-lad Pant made life difficult for the Aussie bowlers on a lifeless pitch at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Continuing his overnight vigil at the crease, Pujara kept frustrating the Australian bowlers with his yogic batting as he carried on unfazed to 193 before lobbing a catch back to Nathan Lyon.

If the Aussies thought seeing the back of Pujara would be the end of their agony, they soon found another demon in fellow Saurashtran, Jadeja. The bowlers tried everything but the Indians continued to make merry. Pant, a divisive figure in Australia, made sure he was the talking point once again by stroking his way to a glorious century and finished unbeaten on 159 with some audacious shots.

Leveraging Tim Paine's tweet, the Bharat Army had a song for Pant.

The plight of the Aussies was perfectly advertised, in a microcosm, in one Pat Cummins over. The Aussie quick tried the bouncer; Jadeja hooked him to the boundary. Cummins then bowled one at the ribs; Jadeja pulled him for a boundary. The pacer then pitched it full; Jadeja drove him for a boundary. Cummins replied with a short ball; Jadeja pulled him for the fourth boundary of the over.

It is very rare to see Australia look so toothless at home and thus Twitter went crazy while also lauding India.
