India clinched victory against England in the semis, keeping their hopes alive for the World Cup title with a thrilling 7-run win in the second semi-final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Sanju Samson scored 89 to set up India's win.
Apart from lakhs of fans, celebs also arrived to watch the match live. Among them were Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Raha, Varun Dhawan, Triptii Dimri, and Anil Kapoor.
MS Dhoni was also seen in the VVIP section. He greeted fans while Sakshi Dhoni was present alongside Ritika.
Mahieka was also present in the stands with Agastya, Hardik's son.
Cricketer KL Rahul was seen watching the game with his brother-in-law, actor Ahan Shetty. The duo appeared deeply engrossed in the match, mirroring the tense mood among the thousands of fans packed into the stadium.
Several photos and videos have gone viral. In one of the videos, Varun and Anil were seen getting up from their seats and clapping for Team India after the final innings, even waving the tricolour as the team triumphed. "Finale unlocked! Let's go, Team India," Anil wrote on his Instagram Stories. Meanwhile, Triptii wrote, "Goosebumps watching this team."
Raha was seen clapping along with Ranbir and Alia, and several videos of the three enjoying the game surfaced on X. Ranbir was dressed in a blue jersey and was seen carrying little Raha in his arms, while Alia walked beside them in a relaxed outfit and cap. Another clip shows Raha sitting on Ranbir's lap, appearing curious and playful, occasionally looking around at the crowd and flashing adorable expressions.
