Ambati Rayudu will captain India A in the two unofficial Tests against South Africa AReuters

After an abysmal show against Australia A in the second unofficial Test, where India A lost by ten wickets, the BCCI announced the teams for the upcoming tri-series against Australia A and South Africa A and the two four-day matches against South Africa.

Rahul Dravid's team, after a decent showing in the first unofficial Test in Chennai, caved in spectacularly in the second against Australia, and that too despite having Virat Kohli in the side.

Dravid will hope for a better performance from his side this time around, with the one-day and four-day teams wearing different looks.

Delhi batsman Unmukt Chand will lead the India A team for the tri-series against Australia and South Africa, while Ambati Rayudu has been named the skipper for the longer format.

The tri-series is scheduled for 5-14 August, and will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The two unofficial Tests will take place at the Krishnagiri Stadium in Wayanad, with the first match starting on 18 August.
