The fourth edition of the India Bike Week (IBW), one of the premier biking festivals in the country, will be held Friday (Feb.18) and Saturday (Feb.19) at Arpora Sporting Ground in Goa. It has been organised by Seventy Event Media Group (70 EMG) and travel and lifestyle channel FOX Life in association with Shell Lubricants, and is expected to see over 12,000 participants.

The star attraction of the event, the Moto Trials show, will see professional motorcycle trials and endurocross rider Dougie Lampkin showcasing skills in the sport. The one and only Indian to participate and complete Dakar Rally, CS Santosh, fresh off the 2016 Dakar Rally, will host a session offering insights into riding safety. Santosh will also be a part of the Big Trip session, where he'll discuss some of his most exciting rides and his passion for biking.

The Big Trip session will see Bullet Yatra blogger Dhruv Dholakia, Youhan Mubaraki and Debaashish Ghosh, who will outline their 25,000-km ASEAN corridor ride to Singapore and back on their Harleys, and Alankar Misra, who did a Trans-America ride in addition to several pan-India rides.

This year's iteration will also host the Dirty20 Enduro Challenge, which is open for general participation. Winners of this challenge will get a total cash prize of Rs 75,000. The IBW will also conduct a film festival for the first time, featuring travel films from all over the world on the theme "Bike and Journey".

Apart from the biking event, the IBW will also host music events. The likes of MIDIval Punditz, The Other People, Thaalavattam and Soulmate will perform over the course of the two-day event.

Harley-Davidson and DSK Benelli have bike unveilings planned for the event, while Triumph has announced the Indian premiere of the new Bonneville Street Twin.
