The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to declare the revised list of All India Rank of IIT JEE (Main) 2015 exam on Wednesday, 8 July.

The All India Rank (AIR) list of IIT JEE (Main) will be published on the official websites of IIT and CBSE, Joint Entrance Examination (Main) and Central Board of Secondary Education.

The CBSE had declared the 2015 AIR list on 1 July, but they decided to release an updated list as a few state boards, including Telangana, had failed to submit the results of all the students who had appeared in the Class 12 exams for academic year 2014-15.

The decision was taken keeping in view the interests of students, who are aspiring to seek admission to IITs-ISM, IIITs, NITs and other Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs). Even the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) requested the CBSE to release a fresh list.

"However, the board has decided to issue a revised list on July 8, 2015, to safeguard the interests of students, and as requested by the joint seat allocation authorities for admissions," PTI quoted CBSE as saying.

JoSAA is conducting a combined counselling or joint seat allocation for admission to IITs, NITs and other technical institutions for the academic year 2015-16.

The IIT has started the counselling process. Meanwhile, JoSAA also released the seat allotment results 2015 on 7 July.
