Hollywood star John Travolta is all set to make his debut appearance at the Indian award ceremony, International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), which is being held in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Travolta, who is touted to be the 'Most Popular All time International Star in India,' will attend the IIFA Awards on the main day, i.e. on 26 April along with Bollywood stars.
The 60-year-old actor will receive special award for his outstanding contribution to International cinema, according to the official website of IIFA Awards.
This year the unique convergence of Hollywood and Indian film industry will be seen at the IIFA Award show.
The two times Academy Awards nominee actor will share the stage with Bollywood biggies at an Indian award show for the first time.
Last year, Belgian martial artist Jean Claud Van Damme attended the award show which was held in Macau, China. He walked the red carpet along with Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Deepika Padukone among others.
Bollywood celebrities having started arriving for the award show in Florida, US. Show host Shahid Kapoor along with Sonakshi Sinha, Saif Ali Khan, Richa Chadda, Imtiaz Ali, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra arrived on 22 April.
The award ceremony will kick start on 24 April with IIFA Rocks which will be hosted by Saif Ali Khan. On the second day (25 April) IIFA Magic of the Movies will take place at Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater.
On the third day, the main award ceremony will take place at Raymond James Stadium. Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Siddharth Malhotra and Deepika Padukone among others are expected to perform on 26 April night.
