Snapped by Motorbeam reader Rishath Suresh, ix25 is still seen with the camouflage and nothing much has changed from what we have seen last time. But the original publisher of the spy shots reveals that the ix25 diesel model will be getting automatic version.

Hyundai ix25 will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options in India. Likely to be powered by 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills, ix25 is expected to hit Indian roads around festive season this year. In the international market, ix25 is sold with 1.6- and 2.0-litre petrol engines coupled with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, with the choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

From what we have seen so far, Hyundai ix25 is likely to get a design similar to its global counterpart and is expected to come with feature central console with audio controls, air con vents and climate controls. There have also been rumours that the India-specific version will too feature all-wheel drive.

In India, Hyundai ix25 will be squared off against Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano and is likely to get a price tag in the price range of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh.

Hyundai, which launched its new Verna facelift in the country last month, will be presenting its new Elite i20 crossover i20 Active on 18 March.
