Proposed flagship handset HTC M8, also called HTC One (2014) might arrive with the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS along with its native HTC Sense 6.0 user interface.

HTC's Sense 6.0 UI was revealed by Ev Leaks, one of the most reliable gadget information leakers, and by LlabToofer, another source of HTC related leaks. Moreover, it has been revealed that HTC is currently testing the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS update with Sense 6.0, according to a HTC ROM developer, reports Geeky Gadgets.

The news came via Twitter post through @DanialiGiacomo who stated "At the moment they are testing device on 4.4.2 and next version of Sense..."

Some of the other rumoured specifications to be carried by M8 are 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 (or 805) chipset, Adreno 330, a 5in 1080p display with 440ppi and a 4 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front camera. The handset is also expected to include 2GB RAM and come in 16/32/64GB in-built memory options with a microSD card support. HTC M8 might also arrive with a massive 4000mAh battery.

The details can be seen here.

Recent reports have also revealed that the handset has passed the Wi-Fi certification and can switch between the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands.

It's however worth waiting for HTC One (2014) or HTC M8 because of its bumped up specifications, which revealed through several leaks and rumours. Since HTC One swiped the market upon its arrival, due to its beautiful sleek design and features, same blow is expected this time from M8, which could also prove to be a stiff competitor to Samsung Galaxy S5.

The wait for the handset is coming to an end, as the M8 is likely to see a February release, based on HTC's past schedule. HTC One too was revealed in February, which coincided with the Mobile World Congress event and hence, M8 is expected to be unveiled around 24 - 27 February 2014, when the event will take place.
