Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India updated its 150cc motorcycle, the CBR 150R, with new dual-tone colours. The new colours listed on the company website have been christened Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red and Candy Palm Green, and priced at Rs 1,23,183, ex-showroom, Delhi.

The dual-tone colour combination is also highlighted with new graphics in the fairing that extends to the fuel tank. The company also removed from its website the previous colour options — Vibrant Orange, Black and Candy Palm Green, and Black and Pearl Sunbeam White — while Sports Red stays in the new style. This also means the CBR 150R will henceforth be available in only new colours.

The new colours are the same Honda unveiled at the Revfest event in August 2015. Along with the launch of the CBR 650F at the event, Honda unveiled new colour options for CBR 250R and CBR 150R.

The new Honda CBR 150R is powered by the same 149.4cc liquid-cooled 4-Stroke SI engine that develops 18.28bhp of power at 10500rpm and 12.66Nm of torque at 8500rpm, mated to six-speed transmission. The motorcycle comes with a claimed top speed of 109kmph.

The vehicle measures 2,000mm in length, 825mm in width and 1,120mm in height with a wheel base of 1,305mm. It weighs 138kg and comes with ground clearance of 190mm.

The new CBR 150R carries forward the cycle parts of the outgoing version. It features telescopic front suspension and monoshock rear suspension. The motorcycle runs in 100/80 section front and 130/70 section rear tyres mounted on 17-inch wheels. Stopping power comes from 276mm disc brakes up front and 220mm disc brakes for rear tyres.
