Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India's 250cc motorcycle, the CBR 250R, gets three new colour options. The 250cc sportsbike in new colours also features a new decal in the fairing that extends to the fuel tank. The three new colours are black, Sports red and Peal amazing white in which the later is a dual-tone finish, as listed on the company's website.

The company also removed from its website the previous colour options - Candy Ruby Red, Asteroid Black Metallic and Pearl Heron Blue tri-colour. Hence, the new CBR250 R will be available only in new colours.

The new colours are the same Honda unveiled at the Honda Revfest event in August 2015. Along with the launch of the CBR 650F at the event, the new colour options of CBR 250R were also grabbed attention.

There was speculation that upgrades would include the twin-headlight setup seen in its international models. It is disappointing that Honda came up with just colour options.

The Honda CBR250R will continue to use the same 249cc liquid cooled, 4-Stroke, SI engine that develops 26.15bhp of power at 8500rpm and 22.9Nm of torque at 7000rpm mated to six speed transmission. The motorcycle measures 2,032mm in length, 720mm in width and 1,367mm in height with 163kg kerb weight.

Honda CBR 250R's younger sibling, the CBR 150R, is still listed with the existing colours on the website. The new colours showcased at the Revfest are expected to be available in the 150cc motorcycle soon.
