Nokia 3310's comeback in 2017 caught everyone's attention and the company that made it possible – HMD Global – is now turning to its fans for a little creative help. The Finnish startup has launched a campaign on Instagram, inviting artists and designers for a creative artwork that will make the Nokia 3310 (2017) look chic.

In addition to the new Red, Blue, Yellow and Grey colours, Nokia 3310 will be featured in one-of-a-kind artistic paintjob done by none other than the fans. The submissions will be reviewed by HMD Global and I Love Dust - a UK based design studio, before finalizing on the best artwork for the iconic feature phone.

Nokia 3310 hasn't gone on sale yet, but it will hit the stores in select markets this month. As for the limited edition Nokia 3310, which will also go on sale, is expected to be available this quarter. In India, there have been rumours about the phone's arrival sooner than later. Most notably, the handset is expected to be priced higher than usual, at around Rs. 3,899.

Nokia 3310 is a reminiscent of the classic old phone with incremental updates. The feature phone comes with a 1200mAh battery to last 22 hours of talktime and 30 days on standby. Despite the upgrades the new Nokia 3310 is still a feature phone without Wi-Fi or 4G support. It is powered by S30+ OS, and yes, the iconic snake game is on board.

In addition to that, there's a 2MP rear camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, and a microSD card support with 16GB onboard storage.
