Hero Splendor iSmart 110, first in-house developed motorcycle, launched in India: Full specifications, price, features and more

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL) launched its first in-house developed motorcycle the Splendor iSmart 110 in India on Thursday, July 14. The Splendor iSmart 110 has been priced at Rs. 53,300 (ex-showroom).

With the launch of the all-new Splendor iSmart 110 today, we have achieved yet another significant milestone in our solo journey. This comes close on the heels of the successful launch of our first range of indigenously developed scooters last year. The Splendor iSmart 110 has been developed at Hero's CIT (Centre of Innovation and Technology) in Jaipur. It is powered by BS-IV compliant 110cc air-cooled single cylinder, 4-stroke engine that can churn out maximum power output of 8.9bhp at 7,500rpmand maximum torque of 9Nm at 5500 rpm. It comes coupled with a four-speed gear box. The bike can race from 0-60 kmph in 7.45 seconds. Hero claims to offer best-in-class fuel efficiency for the Splendor iSmart 110.

The Splendor iSmart 110 features Hero's i3S (Idle-stop-start system) technology, which will help in increasing fuel efficiency. Available in Silver and Black, Red and Black, Blue and Black and Sports Red body shades, the new Splendor iSmart 110 comes with digital analogue speedometer, tubeless tyres and dual tone graphics. Other features include sleek tail lamps and split grab rail.

The Splendor iSmart 110 will take on the likes of TVS Victor 110, Yamaha Saluto RX and Honda Livo.
