It is quite difficult to reach a proper position for an actor in Tollywood, especially lead heroes unless they have a solid family background in the industry.

Unlike other popular actors, Vijay Deverakonda does not have any connections in the Telugu film industry. With a couple of movies to his credits, Vijay Deverakonda has earned something that many A-list heroes were unable to gain even after dozens of movies.

The market for Vijay Deverakonda grew really high when Arjun Reddy became a huge hit. His latest movie Geetha Govindam has also become a colossal hit at the box-office.

While the makers of Geetha Govindam are overjoyed with the huge success of the movie, a person from their own clan appears disappointed. Getting into the details, the movie Geetha Govindam was supposed to star Allu Sirish in the role played by Vijay Deverakonda.

Allu Sirish was supposed to act in this feel-good rom-com before Vijay Deverakonda was roped in. Director Parasuram who directed Srirasthu Subhamasthu had a tie-up with Geetha Arts to direct one more movie.

Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas had considered Allu Sirish to act in Geetha Govindam when Parasuram came up with the story. However, Parasuram had suggested that he wanted to make this movie with a sensational hero like Vijay Deverakonda.

The makers cannot deny the fact that Vijay Deverakonda's stardom had definitely helped in the success of Geetha Govindam. Hence, the makers are happy that the movie witnessed a huge success.

The producers Bunny Vas and Allu Aravind had to be convinced to rope in Vijay Deverakonda, post his movie Pellichoopulu. Arjun Reddy's reviews had made it clear that Vijay Deverakonda could also grab the attention of the majority of viewers.
