South Indian actress Nayantara celebrates her 31st birthday on Wednesday, 18 November.

The actress, who began her acting career opposite actor Jayaram in "Manasinakkare" in 2003, is currently basking in the success of her hat-trick hits "Thani Oruvan", "Maya" and "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan".

Reports suggest that Nayantara is in Rome to celebrate her special day and apparently got a chance to see Pope Francis on Sunday, 15 November. She will be off to Naples, Milan and Venice before returning to India in December, according to Sify.

The actress, who will be next seen opposite Mammootty in AK Sajan's upcoming film "Puthiya Niyanam" had a birthday celebration on sets as well.

Nayantara will also be next seen in Simbu's Telugu comedy film "Idhu Namma Aalu", Jiiva's "Thirunaal" and Karthi's "Kashmora".

On her special day, celebrities, including Vidyu, Ganesh Venkatram, Dhivya Dharshini, Mohan Raja and many others have wished the actress on social media.
