Real estate developer Godrej Properties has sold villas with a booking value of Rs 300 crore in a single day at the launch of its township in Greater Noida, the company said in a statement. The project, called Crest, is part of a 100-acre planned township called Godrej Golf Links.

The Mumbai-based company sold 60,000sqft of villas as part of the project that is a joint venture with ACE Group, a developer in the NCR.

The company's Crest project is the first in the Noida and Greater Noida market. 

"BDP architects, who are based in the UK, are the master planers and landscape consultants for Godrej Golf Links. They have previously designed several iconic projects including Liverpool One, Liverpool," the company said. 

Godrej Properties is the real estate arm of the Godrej Group. 

"We consider Noida a critical growth opportunity for our company and hope to have many more successful launches in the city," Pirojsha Godrej, managing director and CEO of the firm, said.

Godrej Properties is currently developing residential, commercial and township projects spread across approximately 11.98 million sqm in 12 cities in the country. The company's stock was trading at Rs 360.10 at 10:23 am on Friday, down 1.18 percent from its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
