Google's upcoming smartphone dubbed as LG Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X is not in news without a reason. Expectations on the device is sky-high following the stupendous success of its original version, the LG Nexus 5 and it could well turn out to be a flagship phone killer when launched.

The Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X is expected to be unveiled along with Nexus 6 (2015) on 29 September before releasing a few days later. LG is reportedly making the Nexus 5 (2013) successor under the codename "LG Bullhead" and Huawei is behind the Nexus 6 (2014) successor.

According to a report by Android Authority, a 16 GB model of the Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X will come with a price tag of $399 and $449 for the 32 GB model, which is affordable, but it could compete with high-end devices like Apple's iPhone 6s, Samsung Galaxy S6, LG G4 and HTC One M9 despite the huge price difference.

Google is tight-lipped on its upcoming Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X but leaks have suggested it will come with up-to-date features like NFC, Bluetooth 4.2., USB Type-C connector, fingerprint sensor and Android Pay. The device will not lack behind flagship devices from various brands if we are to go by information provided by leaked reports.

The device is expected to sport a 5.2-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, run on Google's new operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow, come packed with 16/32 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM, house a 13 MP main camera and 2 MP front snapper, and powered by a 2,700 mAh battery.

However, Gizmo China has claimed in a report that the device will come with features like 64 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM, non-removable 3,180 mAh battery, 13 MP main camera, and 4 MP front snapper.

The specifications mentioned are not confirmed yet but if true, it has the potential to give current flagship devices from various brands a run for their money.
