Chinese smartphone-maker Gionee has launched new Marathon series handset dubbed as M4 in India.
Like all previous Gionee M series devices, the new Marathon M4 comes with massive battery capacity. It boasts 5,000mAh cell capable of running the phone for a staggering 50 hours of talk-time, this means users can chat on the phone for two days straight in single charge. And on standby mode, a fully charged Marathon M4 can work for close to 440 hours (that's more than 18 days).
Its predecessor Marathon M3 too featured same 5,000mAh battery, but features less superior RAM, front-camera and storage capacity.

Marathon M4 sports 5.0-inch HD super AMOLED display and comes packed with Android 5.0 Lollipop backed by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also features 8mp camera on the back and a 5mp snapper on the front.
Gionee Marathon M4 India Price and Availability Details:
The company has reportedly confirmed that the new Gionee Marathon M4 has been made available across Pan India on both online and brick-and-mortar stores for ₹15,499. It is also available on Gionee's official e-Store as well.
Competition:
The new Gionee Marathon M4 will be up against the popular Android One series Lava Pixel V1, Xolo Black and the recently released water-proof Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen).
