Genius movie review and rating by audience: Live updates

Director Anil Sharma's 2018 Hindi movie Genius starring Utkarsh Sharma, Ishitha Chauhan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty, has received mixed review and rating from the audience.

Genius is an action thriller film and Anil Sharma has written the story, while Sunil Sirvaiya and Amjad Ali penned the screenplay for the movie. He has also co-produced the film with KC Sharma, Deepak and Kamal Mukut. The movie has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.45 hours.

Genius movie story: The film is about an orphan named Vasudev Shastri (Utkarsh Sharma), who has a brilliant mind and is craving for love. He joins RAW and is burdened by the killing of his entire team. How he hatches a genius plan and avenges their death forms the crux of the story.

Performances: Anil Sharma's son Utkarsh Sharma, who made his debut as a child artiste with 2001 film Gadar, has turned hero with Genius and he has tried his best to do justice to his role. His performances is one of the highlights. Ishitha Chauhan has done good job and her chemistry with hero is good. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty have also done justice to their roles, say the audience.

Technical: Genius has brilliant production values and background score, picturisation, the choreography of action, stunts and dialogues are the attractions on the technical front, say the viewers.
