'Gabbar Is Back' Teaser Released: Akshay Kumar Challenges Corruption [VIDEO]

"Gabbar Is Back" teaser is out, and Akshay Kumar's stern voiceover is surely a threat to the hoodlums and racketeers.

Uploading it on Twitter, the superstar also posted a message along with it Thursday night. "If you hate corruption,spread the word #GabbarIsBack.Post this & show whose side u're on!The new Vigilante is in Town."

Slated for a 1 May release, the makers promise it to be a thrilling ride. "Main Gabbar has the makings of a potential blockbuster film that is the perfect amalgamation of an ensemble cast and an engaging narrative. Hoping to leverage the May Day holiday for an extended opening, we have slated the film for a May 1 release," Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, told IANS.

The film's working title "Gabbar" was faced with some issues as a result of which people associated with the venture settled with "Gabbar Is Back". However, everyone along with Akshay, is reportedly kicked about it and is gearing up for an extensive promotion campaign.

"Akshay's Baby stays on to be the biggest success of the year so far, both commercially as well as critically. Now with Gabbar Is Back, the actor is only going to reach out to an added audience base," Bollywood Hungama quoted an insider as saying.

The character will be legendary and the "Baby" star has reportedly done justice to it. Co-starring Shruti Hassan, Suman Talwar and Sunil Grover, the action-drama, from the looks of it, promises to be a power-packed entertainer.
