The first look of much-hyped Balakrishna's Gautami Putra Satakarni has hit the internet with a bang. The poster was directly released online on Saturday, October 8.

Balakrishna is seen comfortably sitting in a throne. The poster announces that the teaser of the upcoming Telugu movie will be out on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami on October 11.

Gautami Putra Satakarni is set to be the landmark 100th film in the career of Nandamuri Balakrishna. It is a historical film, based on the life of second century Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Director Krish himself has written the story and screenplay for the film, while Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues. The movie is produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Y Rajeev Reddy under the banner First Frame Entertainment.

Shriya Saran will be seen in the role of Vaashishtha Devi. Hema Malini, Kabir Bedi and others are in supporting roles.
