The trailer of the much-anticipated erotic romantic drama Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to box office hit Fifty Shades of Grey, has been released and it definitely lives up to its title.

The two-minute and 30-second trailer of Fifty Shades Darker begins with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) asking Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) for a second chance and she agrees to meet him for dinner. "Yes, I will have dinner with you because I'm hungry, but we are only talking and that is it," she says. But soon they get frisky in a crowded lift, on the bed and in the shower.

Everything is going smooth until the entry of Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger) or Mrs. Robinson, Grey's business partner and former lover. Mrs. Robinson seduced Grey as a younger man and introduced him to S&M. "Do you think you're the first woman who's tried to save him?" Mrs. Robinson asks Steele in the trailer. Going forward, Steele is repeatedly warned about her relationship with Grey, but everything falls on deaf ears.

The trailer, which is filled with suspense, intrigue, mystery and excitement, treats viewers with steamy scenes and sexual moments between Grey and Steele. But between these intimate scenes, drama and suspense, can love survive? You will find the answers on February 14.

The recent promo is the second trailer of the Fifty Shades Darker film. In September, Universal Pictures released a 19-second teaser and the first full trailer. Fifty Shades Darker, which is the second instalment of the popular R-rated Fifty Shades of Grey, will release on Valentine's Day 2017. Directed by James Foley, the film features Dakota and Jamie in the lead roles, with Kim, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and others in supporting roles.
