It is wise to say that Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan's collaborations are a Bollywood spectacle. This director-actor duo has always brought forth the ultimate spectacle and sheer entertainment. There are several times that critics may not have appreciated the Farah Khan directorials starring Shah Rukh, but the audience has always lauded them and has put out on social media talking about what a great duo they are. Only one out of her four films did not feature SRK, and the director turned YouTuber just announced that her next film, whenever it might come, will only feature Shah Rukh.
Yes, that is right, there is no confirmation about when Farah's next film will hit the theatres, but she has already chosen the male lead for that film. She has decided on the fact that her next will have SRK playing the protagonist, and if it does not happen, she does have other plans. In a conversation with Nakuul Mehta on her YouTube vlog, Farah got to talk about what is in store for her.
When Nakuul said he misses the genre of films that Farah would direct, she replied to him saying, "Abhi banaungi main! Abhi bachche chaley jayenge na college fir banaungi! There is a whole petition on the internet called wapas aao, Farah Khan (I'll make it now! The kids will go to college soon, then I'll make it! There's a whole petition on the internet called "Come back, Farah Khan!"). So I think it is time, I think end of this year I will start."
Farah made sure to let her fans know that making a film in no way would mean her abandoning her YouTube channel, because she has to keep paying the fees for her kids. When Nakul questioned if YouTube would also help produce her film, Farah replied, "If I do (talks about directing her film), I will do it will Shah Rukh! Otherwise, I will wait and do YouTube."
Farah's last film was Shah Rukh-starrer Happy New Year, which also featured Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. In other news, it is being speculated that SRK's KING, a project that will also include his daughter Suhana, will release in 2026.
