Director Atul Manjrekar's Bollywood movie Fanney Khan starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta, has received positive reviews and ratings from the audience.

Fanney Khan synopsis: It is a musical comedy film that has been written and directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar. The movie has been jointly produced by the banners T-Series Films, Rakesh Omprakash Mehta Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films and Communication Network. The flick has received a U/A certifiate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.10 hours.

Fanney Khan movie story: It is a remake of the 2002 Belgian film Everybody's Famous. The movie is about a father (Anil Kapoor), who couldn't become Mohammad Rafi, but is after fulfilling the wish of his daughter (Divya Dutta), who wants to be a singer. He kidnaps a famous soloist to make way for his daughter to become a star.

Performances: Anil Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao have delivered brialliant performances, which are the highlights of Fanney Khan. Karan Singh Chhabra, Pihu Sand, Anaitha Nair, Girish Kulkarni and Swati Semwal have also done justice to their roles, say the viewers.

Technical: Fanney Khan has decent production values and songs, background score, picturisation and dailogues are the attractions on the technical front, say the audience.

#FanneyKhan is a movie made with all heart. Boasts of nice performances by @AnilKapoor, #AishwaryaRaiBachchan, @RajkummarRao, @divyadutta25 and #PihuSand! You want to cheer and applaud them. But the weak plot line doesn't let you do so. 10 mins into the film and you know where it is going. In this weak story, @AnilKapoor tries hard to create magic by his act. @RajkummarRao supports him well but is under utilised. I wish their characters were sketched out better.#FanneyKhan #AishwaryaRaiBachchan aka Baby Singh is like a whiff of fresh air. She brights up the screen everytime she appears on it. She is effortlessly glamorous, beautiful and leaves you in awe! Sadly, her role is also half baked. #PihuSand gives a winning performance. All in all, #FanneyKhan struggles to keep your interests piqued. In patches, the film is decent. By the time the end approaches, the movie feels so stretched that you want it to end. I wish it was written better and edited well. What I liked about #FanneyKhan is the topic of body shaming and woman empowerment that they have taken. What I dislike is - they could have done magic with these topics and created a heartwarming story. Damn, they failed!
