After Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Fahadh Faasil will next be seen in director Rafi's upcoming movie, which has been titled Role Models. The movie, starring Namitha Pramod in the female lead role, was launched in Kochi on Thursday, October 27.
The comedy entertainer marks the first time association of Fahadh and Namitha. While Fahadh plays Gautham, who is raised in a strict home as both his parents are college professors, Namitha will be seen as Shreya, who is an adventure sports trainer in Goa. The comedy entertainer will be majorly shot in Goa and a few portions in Dubai.
Role Models gives equal importance to both the lead actor, and emphasises on how friendships play an important role in shaping a person in the different phases of life. The upcoming movie also stars Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt and Seetha in significant roles.
Meanwhile, Fahadh has wrapped up the shooting of debutant director Mahesh Narayanan's next with Kunchacko Boban and Parvathy. The yet-to-be-titled movie is said to be narrating the incidents that happen in the lives of Keralite nurses in Iraq due to the conflicts that happen in the Middle East country. The actor also has Dileesh Pothan's Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum scheduled for the next year.
On the acting career front, Namitha, who had starred in the comedy movie Adi Kapyare Kootamani, is basking in the success of her debut Telugu project Chuttalabbayi. The romantic entertainer has collected over Rs. 15 crore in three weeks at the box office, becoming the highest earner of actor Aadi. She also has the Telugu project Kathalo Rajakumari and the sequel of Adi Kapyare Kootamani in her kitty.
