Claims circulating on social media that journalist Aditya Raj Kaul was arrested in Israel are false. The journalist remains active online and continues to report from the region.
The claim
Posts widely shared on social media since March 14 alleged that Kaul had been detained by Israeli police. Some users also claimed he had revealed sensitive location information while reporting, which supposedly led to his arrest.
The claim spread across multiple accounts and was amplified by several unverified pages.
Fact check
There is no credible evidence that Kaul has been arrested.
On March 14, Kaul posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing himself reporting from Bet Shemesh, where Benjamin Netanyahu had arrived to review damage following a missile attack.
In the post, Kaul wrote, "Reportage from Bet Shemesh, Israel on March 2 4:30pm where Israeli PM was visiting to review damage a day after Iranian missile attack."
Addressing the rumours directly, he added, "Some baseless disinformation being spread on this video."

His continued presence on social media and ongoing reporting contradict the claim that he was detained.

Source of the claim
The false narrative appears to have originated from a Facebook page named "News Post." The page does not have a verified record of credible reporting and provided no evidence to support the allegation.
Verdict False.
There is no evidence that Aditya Raj Kaul was arrested in Israel. The journalist has remained active on social media and has publicly addressed the rumours while continuing to report from the region.
