The rumours swirling around EXO member Kai and f(x)'s Krystal Jung are reportedly true. The couple is very much in love, confirmed an SM Entertainment official.
A statement from the company announced that the two started dating recently. "The two were close friends and began having feelings for each other this year," according to Allkpop.
Earlier, Korean media outlet Dispatch posted several photos of Kai and his supposed girlfriend Krystal and they appeared to be stepping out of a car. According to another Allkpop article, the pictures were taken on February 17 in Los Angeles.
The outlet pointed out that the SM Entertainment artists met up after EXO's concert in the city. The "Call Me Baby" singer reportedly dined with Krystal at a crab restaurant frequented by the Jung sisters.
Reports suggest that 22-year-old Kai has been having secret dates with Krystal in and outside South Korea. However, this update on Kai a.k.a Kim Jong-in's dating life raised speculations about the veracity of the news, considering it is April Fools' Day.
So far, Krystal's Instagram account doesn't provide a clue about her relationship with Kai. There are hardly pictures of her with the EXO member, raising further doubts about the authenticity of the news. However, SM Entertainment's statement dispelled the confusion surrounding their new found love.

Krystal and Kai are artists trained under SM Entertainment banner. Both singers have had a longstanding friendship for the past 10 years.They are the entertainment company's second in house couple, after EXO's Baekhyun and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
