Do Kyung-soo, a member of the popular Chinese-South Korean boy band EXO, could share screen space with actor Shin Ha Kyun of Pied Piper fame in new thriller movie, titled Room #7.

The young Korean heartthrob is reportedly in talks with the production team regarding his casting in the upcoming Korean film, which is scheduled to release in January 2017.

While speculations are rife that the Lotto singer has confirmed his onscreen appearance in the film, SM Entertainment denied the rumours. According to the entertainment agency, he is currently working on his schedules and is yet to make any commitments for the project.

Meanwhile, the main reason for the recent buzz is said to be an exclusive report by a Korean media outlet named Sports Chosun. The publication claimed that the Korean entertainer has confirmed his role for the thriller movie, according to AllKpop.

Room #7 revolves around the mysterious death of a person, whose corpse will be found inside a DVD room. While Ha Kyun will be portraying the owner of the DVD room, D.O. could play the role of his part-time employee.

The EXO member is currently busy with the promotional activities of his upcoming web drama, titled Positive Physique. The mini-series, revolving around the life of a budding movie director named Hwan Dong, will premiere on October 31.
