Palash Sen recently celebrated twenty-seven years of being in the music industry. The 'Euphoria' band icon lashed out at the film fraternity for not extending support towards independent artists and bands like his. He also expressed his anger over the growing influence of money over talent in the entertainment world.
Known for songs like 'Maiyee Ree' and 'Dhoom,' Palash took to social media to vent out his anger and frustration. As the doctor-turned-singer performed for the last time in 2025, he shared several posts about how the industry has 'alienated' him time and again. He also thanked the audience for staying true to him despite the circumstances.

Palash Sen vents out
"The film industry never gave me a fair chance. The labels didn't find me commercially viable enough and the brands needed filmy or Punjabi stuff...I was always the outsider. Too educated, too uptight, too honest... even my so-called friends in the industry never helped me," he wrote.
Sen further went on to add, "I have watched money take over the entire ecosystem silently... I have seen manufactured trends and the vulgarity of buying all avenues of making music heard in this country."
He then went on to allege that his own band members never promoted the band, stabbed him in the back, and tried to sabotage the 'Euphoria' label, but he chose to stand strong against it all.
What kept him going
Palash concluded the post saying that he has been able to stand tall through it all because of the fair and honest love the audience has given him over the years. He wrote, "They treat me as their own family. They're my reason to fight every day." He went on to thank the audience of Lucknow, where he performed, for their roaring support to him.
"I am a lonely man who has spent his life doing a thankless job, fighting a lost battle. A middle-class man who still dreams the impossible dream. A sensitive poet who has only loved & lost. Here are some of my thoughts written with dignity & honesty. Give me your heart tonight," he had captioned the post, pouring his heart out.
