Riyad Mahrez has been one of the keys to Leicester City's incredible success in the ongoing season. The Algerian has managed to catch the eyes of a number of footballing giants across the European continent with his consistent performances.

The Foxes will definitely not want him to leave the club in the next season. But Mahrez's agent Kamel Bengougam has confirmed that there is a "50-50" chance that the talented winger will leave Leicester City at the end of the current season.

"When you have been playing the way Riyad has this season it is bound to attract attention. He is very happy with Leicester and of course it has been a fantastic season," Bengougam was quoted as saying by Reuters

"They will play in the Champions League next year as well so he would be happy to stay. But at his age if the opportunity comes to play for a big team then we would have to think about it. I'd say it's 50/50 at the moment whether he stays or goes. We have interest from the UK and overseas."

Reports suggest that Barcelona have been showing a lot of interest in the 25-year-old winger.

Mahrez has scored 17 goals and earned 11 assists in the ongoing edition of the English Premier League (EPL). As a result, he recently won the PFA Player of the Year award as well.

Leicester City's vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha had said earlier this week that the Foxes are determined to hold their key players for the next season as they will also feature in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the history of the club. The manager has also said that the players may not get a chance to feature in the playing XI if they decide to join other clubs at the end of the season.

Leicester City will play their last game of the season with Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. But even before that game, Leicester City will be getting their hands on the Premier League trophy after their last home game against Everton on Saturday.
